We work according to Dr Smurzyńska's clinical workflow: proportions, length, occlusion, material selection, layering sequence and polishing.

Additive aesthetic dentistry is rarely practised from start to finish at dental school. During the course, you learn a structured clinical workflow and put it into practice immediately.

You work at one of eight workstations alongside the instructor, who reviews and corrects your work at each stage. The entire day is a hands-on composite bonding workshop.

During the course, you work on three areas, with theory tied directly to chairside practice.

Modelling

Anterior segment modelling

Working on your own typodont, you complete the full composite modelling sequence: length, axis, proportions, anatomy, texture and polishing. You work alongside the instructor, who reviews and corrects your work at each stage.

Materials and workflow

You learn Dr Smurzyńska's clinical workflow: how to select and apply each layer, and when the treatment plan needs to change. You receive a structured workflow with specific materials. You can order a set of tools and composites on site.

Communication

Conversation with the patient

We practise how to present the treatment plan, explain the limitations of composite and discuss occlusion, proportions and longevity with an aesthetic patient. This helps the patient understand the treatment plan before treatment begins.

A technique you will understand and practise.

Every case in this selection from Dr Smurzyńska’s portfolio was completed using an additive approach under full magnification. During the course, you will learn the workflow refined through hundreds of full-arch transformations and apply it to composite modelling in the anterior segment.

Questions we most often get before signing up.

Who is this composite bonding course for? →
For dentists who already perform bonding of single teeth and want to move on to modelling in the anterior segment. This is not a basic course - we assume knowledge of adhesion and working with composites. The scope of work also requires basic practice in clinical photography, planning proportions and talking to an aesthetic patient.
What exactly will I practise during the course? →
You work at your own station and typodont. You model the anterior segment with composite - from planning the proportions and applying the first layer to anatomy, texture and polishing. We also discuss material and instrument selection and the aesthetic patient consultation with an aesthetic patient.
What language is used during the course? →
The course is taught in Polish, with an Italian interpreter present in the room. The demonstration, questions and individual corrections are interpreted. If the confirmed group also requires another language, an additional interpreter will be provided.
How is this course different from other bonding courses? →
After the instructor's demonstration, you model the entire anterior segment yourself at an individual workstation, under full magnification and using an additive approach without tooth preparation. We work with loupes, so bring your own.
What is a full-arch transformation with composite bonding? →
A full-arch transformation changes the appearance of the smile using an additive approach, without preparing tooth tissue. Composite is used to model individual teeth or the entire arch, restoring proportion, length, colour and texture. Complex cases may also include occlusal planning and gingival contouring. The technique is reversible and less invasive than porcelain veneers.
Composite layering and flow injection —
what is the difference? →
Layering applies composite manually, one layer at a time, giving control over anatomy, texture, colour and finish. Flow injection uses flowable composite and a silicone index made from a wax-up. It transfers the planned shape faster but allows less individual characterisation. Each method has its own indications and limitations.
Will I receive continuing education credits? →
The course has been submitted for accreditation by the Regional Medical Chamber. The exact number of continuing education credits will be confirmed once accreditation is complete.
What if I need to cancel after payment? →
The deposit is non-refundable and confirms your place in the group. If you cancel more than 30 days before the course, the remainder of your payment will be refunded. For later cancellations, the full fee is non-refundable, but you may transfer your place to another dentist.
