Patient selection
You assess the clinical and aesthetic conditions as well as the indications for composite modelling in the anterior segment. The treatment plan must correspond to the actual conditions in the oral cavity.
The eight-hour bonding workshop includes a short theoretical part, a demonstration by the instructor and independent work on a typodont. Under the supervision of Dr. Smurzyńska, you go through the full anterior composite layering protocol.
From the first coffee to final polishing: eight hours organised around the pace of the actual clinical procedure.
Participant registration and practical introduction.
We discuss the types of materials, the selection of layers, the sequence of work and the method of applying the composite.
A short break for coffee and conversation.
The instructor performs the full protocol on a demonstration model - from planning to polishing. Live commentary, streaming on a large screen.
Shared meal on site - prepared for participants.
Participants work at their own workstations with a typodont. Full layering protocol under the direct supervision of the instructor. Individual correction of every stage.
Final adjustments and the complete polishing protocol, taking the restoration through to its finished surface.
Questions, certificates and a photographic record of the participants' work.
Seven steps practised in sequence, each with a defined clinical objective.
You assess the clinical and aesthetic conditions as well as the indications for composite modelling in the anterior segment. The treatment plan must correspond to the actual conditions in the oral cavity.
Materials selected for the case, instruments prepared at the workstation and a demonstration of the recommended handling techniques.
Preparing the teeth and etching the enamel without tooth preparation. The approach remains additive and preserves tooth tissue.
Adhesive application, active scrubbing, gentle air drying and polymerisation according to the protocol for each layer.
You then perform application, modelling, polymerisation and basic characterisation. At every stage you control the anatomy of the reconstruction.
You add optional characterisation and controlled translucency, learning how to distribute the material and integrate it with the final layer.
You go through subsequent stages: contouring with burs, refining the texture with polishing rubbers and obtaining shine using discs and paste. We discuss the correct speed and cooling protocol. This stage determines the texture, gloss and natural light reflection.
